HOOK SUBVERSION
Extended Play Vol. 1
Seeker James
Published 6 August 2026
Alt Rock · Pop Post Punk · Functioning Fuzz · Hook Subversion · Lo Fi Friction
A critical strategic pivot. Breaking away from the dark narrative structures of the broader archive, Hook Subversion delivers a high-impact range-proof of raw commercial pop-rock and wiry post-punk urgency - built on driving 808s, dry finger-picked rhythm guitars, and deep melodic accessibility.
Moving between a soaring spinto tenor reach and a gravelled eastern seaboard baritone, Seeker James strips away artificial studio smoke to offer absolute emotional legibility. A direct, character-driven transmission of a songwriter subverting traditional pop hooks to lock down raw human truth.
All tracks written, composed, and executive produced by Seeker James. Vocals performed by Seeker James. Published by Seeker James Publishing, an active member of APRA AMCOS (IPI: 01331423004) and the Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR Member #12368). Under the Bleach Protocol, this catalogue stands as a permanent, dated, and registered archive of transparent human authorship.
